Our broad expertise covers the preparation and purification of organic and inorganic compounds as well as biomolecules of low molecular weight. Manipulations of air and moisture sensitive materials may also be performed employing Schlenk techniques. Product amounts in the range of grams to multiple kilograms can be provided by our in-house facilities. For the scale-up to ton processes we have established a network of reliable national and international industrial partners.

Meet our Competence Team

Dr. René Frank

Dr. René Frank is the managing director of the company. He is also associated with the chemistry department at Technische Universität Braunschweig, where he has been the leader of a research group with a focus on boron compounds. His further expertise include  inorganic and coordination chemistry as well as structure determination by X-ray crystallographic methods. The connection with the academic environment strongly supports the company profile from synthesis to instrumentation.

Dr. Ion Neda

Dr. Ion Neda has established and led the company for many years. As a consultant he still contributes his knowledge to the synthesis and purification of  compounds as well as  industrial scale-up procedures. His long-term experience in organic and inorganic chemistry of phosphorus compounds is highly appreciated. Contributions comprise flame retardants (pyrophosphates), organic derivatives of phosphorus oxoacids as well as medicinal formulations of phosphorus based cytostatica.  He is  also the holder of  numerous publications and patents.

Dr. Heiko Franz

Dr. Heiko Franz is the manager of the synthetic laboratory and an expert in the field of organic chemistry as well as purification methodology. In additon, his highly specialized knowledge in the field of cinchona alkaloids (PhD as well as long-term practice) is a unique strength of the company. Furthermore, he has gathered confident experience in the structural elucidation of complicated natural products by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy.  

Dr. Catalin-Vasile Maftei

Dr. Catalin-Vasile Maftei is a talented synthetic chemist trained in the realms of organic and organometallic chemistry. His experience include the preparation of biomolecularly  inspired ligands and metal complexes thereof for biological applications. Due to his practice in organometallic chemistry, he is confident at the preparation and purfication of air and moisture sensitive materials in inert atmospheric conditions.
